Jacinto Soler Matutes
Ph. D. in International Economics by the Barcelona University, with a thesis on Foreign Direct Investment into China, under the supervision of Prof. Alfredo Pastor from IESE Business School (Barcelona) and the China Europe International Business School CEIBS (Shanghai).
Jacinto completed Studies in Fribourg (Switzerland) and at the Kiel Institute of World Economy (Germany). He is an Associate Professor at Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB) and has previously taught at UPF University. He is also a senior consultant to the leading Catalan employers’ confederation PIMEC. He has published several articles in international journals and the business press.
He speaks Spanish, English, German, Italian, French and basic Chinese.

Carles Brasó Broggi
Economics History Ph. D., consultant and sinologist. Associate professor at the the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and previously at University Pompeu Fabra. He has been a guest researcher at the Cándido Mendes University (Brazil), Normal School Superior (Francia), Hong Kong University and Academy of Social Sciences Shanghai (SASS). Lijing Ye
Economist by the Complutense University of Madrid and International Business Master by the Ramón Llull University of Barcelona. She has worked at Casa Asia and was responsible (among others) for the set-up in Spain of the Chinese company Huawei Technologies. Lijing from her office in Shanghai coordinates our projects related to China. She has authored several publications, such as an analysis on the competitiveness of Spanish ports versus China and the opportunities of the Pearl River Delta.
