Ph. D. in International Economics by the Barcelona University, with a thesis on Foreign Direct Investment into China, under the supervision of Prof. Alfredo Pastor from IESE Business School (Barcelona) and the China Europe International Business School CEIBS (Shanghai).
Jacinto completed Studies in Fribourg (Switzerland) and at the Kiel Institute of World Economy (Germany). He is an Associate Professor at Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB) and has previously taught at UPF University. He is also a senior consultant to the leading Catalan employers’ confederation PIMEC. He has published several articles in international journals and the business press.
He speaks Spanish, English, German, Italian, French and basic Chinese.

Economics History Ph. D., consultant and sinologist. Associate professor at the the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and previously at University Pompeu Fabra. He has been a guest researcher at the Cándido Mendes University (Brazil), Normal School Superior (Francia), Hong Kong University and Academy of Social Sciences Shanghai (SASS). He specializes in professional consulting in the expansion in China and other emerging markets (Francophone Africa). He speaks fluently Spanish/Catalan, Chinese, English and French.

Economist by the Complutense University of Madrid and International Business Master by the Ramón Llull University of Barcelona. She has worked at Casa Asia and was responsible (among others) for the set-up in Spain of the Chinese company Huawei Technologies. Lijing from her office in Shanghai coordinates our projects related to China. She has authored several publications, such as an analysis on the competitiveness of Spanish ports versus China and the opportunities of the Pearl River Delta.

Mapp Law Chambers is an international law firm based in India and Europe providing legal and consulting services to a global clientele since its inception in 1999. The firm has its main office in Mumbai and Barcelona and associated offices in New Delhi and Kochi .

A specialist in the tourism, sport and leisure industries. JuanMa has mostly developed projects for Emergia in the Middle East and Central Asia in particular in Iran, Pakistan and Armenia, where he has been doing business for over a decade now.

Renowned entrepreneur and consultant, based in Zambia with operations throughout southern Africa. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Zambian Chamber of Commerce. He has worked for Emergia on various projects in sectors such as renewable energy, the food industry and environmental technology.

Representative of Emergia Partners in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Central Africa, Dr. Sompo holds a degree in Medicine, with a focus on Epidemiology and postgraduate management studies in China. He is an adviser to the Congolese government, to the Congolese employers’ organization and to various European and African companies. He is manager of Power Business Company and Congo Sunlight Company. He speaks Lingala, Bemba, French, English, Swahili, Chinese and Spanish.
